As the VP of Engineering at AgencyAnalytics, you will be a key driver in engineering excellence of our product offerings. This pivotal role involves overseeing frontend engineering, backend engineering and quality teams focusing on both new feature development and the optimization of existing systems. The software developers are embedded into product teams, each team focusing on a product or a feature area. Your responsibilities include collaborating with product management and other departments to align engineering efforts with the company’s overall strategy. You will be in charge of high-level planning, managing senior technical stakeholders, developing long-term technological vision, and most importantly, ensuring the successful execution of engineering strategies by being the main driver of engineering OKRs. This role reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer, who is also the co-founder of the company.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Extensive experience in software engineering within the SaaS industry, with a strong track record in a similar senior engineering leadership role.
Experience in leading an engineering organization, preferably using Agile or Scrum methodologies and adopting a Spotify model
Experience in driving engineering excellence through the development and tracking of OKRs
Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing distributed remote-first engineering teams and technical leads.
Strong project planning and execution abilities, focusing on technological trends and future engineering needs.
Proven success in guiding Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, particularly in a technical context.
Deep understanding of software development processes, architectural patterns, and innovative technology trends.
Data-driven approach to decision-making, fostering a culture of performance metrics and continuous improvement within the Engineering organization.

Technical Execution: Lead and direct engineering teams in the development and deployment of software solutions. Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
Strategic Leadership: Working with Chief Technology Officer to provide strategic direction and mentorship to engineering team leaders. Align engineering initiatives with the company’s objectives and product strategies.
Technology Roadmapping: Communicate a clear technology roadmap that supports and enhances the product roadmap. Anticipate and incorporate emerging technologies and methodologies.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the product management team and other departments to ensure a seamless integration of engineering efforts with overall business strategies.
Team Development: Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the engineering teams. Guide and support team leaders in achieving their technical and professional goals.
High-Level Planning: Oversee the technical planning and prioritization of projects, ensuring they are aligned with the company’s long-term technological vision and business objectives.
Decision Making: Make strategic decisions regarding technology choices, engineering processes, and resource allocation to drive the company forward in its technological endeavors.
