Job description
We’re looking for a Director, Product Design to join the AgencyAnalytics team!
AgencyAnalytics is a reporting platform for digital marketing agencies. We help agencies streamline client reports and scale their efforts through data & automation.
Reporting directly to our VP Product, you will have an opportunity to define our practice of UX and Design while enabling the coaching, career development, and growth of our product designers.
You’re a strategic thinker, willing to partner on overall product strategy and care deeply about delivering the most value and best experience to our customers. Ideally, you’ve designed B2B SaaS products, you’re well-versed in both UI and UX methods, and you’ve managed design teams before. You’re skilled at building & empowering high-performing design teams, are comfortable enabling day-to-day execution, and are excited to be part of a growing business.

As the Director of Product Design, you will:
Lead and manage a team of 5 Product Designers working across multiple product teams
Establish and champion our design principles and creative vision
Coach and upskill product designers, providing them with regular feedback, career development, and growth opportunities
Continuously improve upon our design & UX research practices, methods, skills, and processes
Build a high-performance design team by upskilling the team, hiring effectively, and establishing strong processes
Partner with product leadership and stakeholders on our product vision, strategy, and roadmap
Enable key strategic and cross-team initiatives
Drive alignment and consistency around design decisions throughout the organization
Job requirements
You have 10+ years of product design experience, with at least 5 years in a role managing product designers
You are highly skilled at designing web products, preferably in the B2B SaaS space
You have strong experience in two or more of the following areas: System Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, UX Design, and Information Architecture
You are familiar with qualitative and quantitative UX research methods, have led research initiatives, and are experienced with user testing
You are comfortable running workshops and design sprints to drive discovery
You are a strong people leader, able to coach designers at all levels, to foster their growth, and to nurture their career development
You’re flexible and enjoy working with a remote, distributed team
You’re empathetic and value building strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization
You’re a strong advocate for design, capable of aligning efforts with user needs and business objectives
